Before the day get’s underway again and I don’t get chance to email you, just a quick one to say thank you to you and the staff at the hotel for Wednesday, the boys really enjoyed their visit and we would certainly use the hotel again if we were in the area.

The westcliff hotel is a beautiful hotel, staff were helpful and friendly, excellent value for the price, looked at a lot of hotels in the area, most of them more expensive than this hotel.

I would like to thank you and your staff for making my daughters wedding day so special. We had a perfect day and would not change a thing. The Westcliff Hotel is a perfect wedding venue, the tables, service and food were second to none, many guests have commented on the high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful and we received very a warm welcome. It could not have been better and we will recommend you very highly.

We had hoped to to have a twin room but I made an error in booking. It was no trouble and we were moved to a twin with sea views.. The hotel had been refurbished and the carpets were new, The restaurant was not stereo typed and overlooked the sea. Breakfast was excellent and suited all tastes. We had a Theatre goers meal in the evening . This was nicely presented by cheerful staff.

Helpful friendly staff. Well equipped room, recently refurbished, with sea view. (and I didn’t even request this.) Very good breakfast, with full hot buffet, and other dishes prepared on request. Excellent location, on quiet road, overlooking sea, within easy walking distance of central Southend. We would certainly stay there again.

Walking along the sea front to southend shopping centre and dinner in the evenings at the Westcliff Hotel was worth every penny.

After reading a few reviews I was slightly put off this place, but luckly we still booked. When we got into the room there was a lovely 4 poster bed, clean and comfortable room with a lovely sea view.
The lunch carvery was the best I have ever had and the breakfast was hot and fresh. Friendly staff, Friendly waiters a great hotel. I would recommend to anyone.

I just wanted to share with you what a wonderful night myself and my friends had on Friday 27th November at the Westcliff Hotel. It was a Robbie and Take That tribute night, and we decided we would try your hotel for our annual christmas dinner. The food was outstanding, the week before we came to you we all went to the Lords Golf and Country Club for Sunday lunch, the venue was amazing but the food was nowhere near as good as yours.

After I had eaten your wonderful Christmas dinner I asked one of the waiters to take me to the chef, who I met and told him how delicious his food was, (I do not know whether he will remember). I did ask him for his recipe for the wonderful “winter vegetable soup”, which unfortunately I did not get.. Do you think it would be possible for that lovely chef to e mail me the recipe, as I would so like to cook it for my family for christmas. The soup was outstanding!
